The Playstation 3 launched in 2006, and despite its relatively high price (in comparison to previous games consoles), it proved popular with customers given its high specification. Although it has now been superceded by the Slim PS3 models, the original Playstation3 was available in 20, 40, 60, 80 and 160Gb models.
